Dr.  Andrea B. Hudson

Dr. Andrea B. Hudson brings 28 years of Optical and Optometric experience to the Lakeview district as a 1998 graduate of the University of Alabama at Birmingham School of Optometry and 1994 graduate of the University of Alabama, Tuscaloosa.
 
She enjoys working with patients of all ages to improve eye health and safety and  visual performance via education and provision of outstanding vision care and products.

​Dr. Hudson is an Infant-See provider, 26-year member of both the American and Alabama Optometric Association, and a member of Dawson Memorial Baptist Church.

Other past community volunteer involvements include Circle K, Habitat for Humanity, Aids Outreach, Respite Care, Stephen Ministry, Community Health Fairs, Local and Rural Vision Screenings, Kings Ranch and Hannah Home, Cub Scouts of America, Girl Scouts of America, Vestavia Hills East Elementary library,  Junior Achievement, United Way, First Responders, Jimmy Hale Mission, Shop and Drop, Backpack Buddies, Pizitz Middle School Band, Vestavia Hills East Elementary, Vestavia Hills Elementary Central , Pizitz Middle School and Vestavia Hills High School PTO and Freedom Writers Ministry.
 
Past top honors include induction into Omnicron Delta Kappa, Mortar Board Society, and Phi Beta Kappa.

Outside of work, Dr. Hudson enjoys spending family time with her husband and two children.
